Creator/Writer Gabriel DeRanzo and Co-Creator/Artist Greg Cravens teamed up in 2017 to bring Stoned Ninja to life with a five page short story in the 901 Comics Anthology. The following year they published Stoned Ninja: A New Strain of Hero #1 through their own efforts selling ad space and original artwork to cover print costs. Since then Stoned Ninja 1,2&3 have combined to sell over 4,500 copies through local comic shops, online, at conventions, five successful crowdfunding campaigns, and in local smoke shops too!! The future for this titanic team up is finishing out the first story arc and releasing Stoned Ninja to the world!!!

 

 

Gabriel DeRanzo is a lifelong comic fan turned self taught comic book writer. With no experience, just a crazy idea and a dream, Gabriel has written three published issues of Stoned Ninja: A New Strain of Hero and two Cosmic Skunk short stories featured in the Bad Dog Comics 2 in 1. As well as several more short story and full length issue scripts yet to be published. 

Greg Cravens is the real deal! Lifelong award-winning artist, caricature king, graphic design professional, the scribble wizard behind syndicated comic strips “the Buckets” and “Hubris”, editorial cartoonist, spontaneous flutist, accomplished unicyclist, rugged outdoorsman (when he’s not indoors working constantly on his many projects), creator of ConCards™️, and board member of the National Cartoonists Society.
